Hi, I’m Si. I’m a photographer, in the loosest possible sense of the word, based in Newcastle upon tyne. My trusty camera is a Canon 5D Mark III, which, in camera years, is basically a fossil. I don’t have a studio, I don’t have fancy lighting, and I don’t really have much of a clue what I’m doing.
What I do have is a desire to create photographs that you’ll want on your walls, not just because you feel sorry for me, but because you actually see them as art.
I’m still learning, experimenting, and occasionally pressing the right buttons by accident. It’s mostly trial, error, and wondering why it doesn’t look like it did in my head. But, if you’re into real, imperfect, and occasionally surprisingly beautiful photography of any genre, I think we’ll get along just fine.
